• Large Businesses with >100+ Employees: Up to 50% to a maximum $6,000 per trainee.
• Small Businesses (<100 Employees): Up to 83% to a maximum $6,000 per trainee.
• Small Businesses w/ New Hires: Up to 100% to a maximum $10,000 per trainee.
• Ontario businesses with WSIB (or equivalent) and $2M in third party liability insurance.
• Training participants must be on payroll, residents of Ontario, Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents.
• Training projects must include <25 trainees to be eligible.
• Topics can include, business/leadership, ERP, or technical.
• Trainer can be a third party private company, a post-secondary institution, or private career college.
• Trainer must a be a Canadian Vendor.
• Ideally, a new or recent hire(s) will be in the training.
• 3rd party trainer expenses, textbooks, materials, tuition, student fees, and examination fees
• Training cannot start until grant application is approved.
• Grant approval takes approximately 4-5 weeks.
• Training must be completed by March 31, 2024.
